RMUTI ENGINEERING WORKSHOP, Nakhon Ratchasima

Conceptual-Sketch

RMUTI ENGINEERING WORKSHOP @

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE, NAKHON RATCHASIMA, 2015

The programme of the project has two main points. One is being with existing shape and outline, the other is available space for machineries.

The machinery became the key concept of space and form of the building, while, in term of existing, the diamond shape of the old existing building is brought to use as the façade of the workshop.

The engineering workshop is designed on a concept of ‘machinery can move, and never stop’

Moreover, functions of its are coded by colors to define spaces for using in the different machineries like Automotive, Mechanical, and Mechatronic workspaces. THstudio Architects intend to make the engineering workshop to be more lively, not just a machinery.
